Horrible, Horrible customer service, food is not good took them over two hours to serve us the appetizers. We asked for the manager, he didn’t come over to the table at all. I don’t recommend this place at all. Stay away. Specially if your not white...

I stumbled onto this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Seafood entrée it was Wonderful! For dessert I had the Tiramisu fresh and wonderful. this is a hidden gem! I live 30 minutes away but I will make it a weekly visit.

We ha dinner on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy. We did find the servers very attentive and helpful. The food was well prepared and very fresh. We had the seafood & pasta and chicken parm both were excellent. This is our first but will definitely come back.

Great small restaurant with cozy atmosphere and excellent food! The four of us loved our food from the salads, fresh bread and wine to the dinners! Swordfish over a Cesar salad was perfectly prepared and the chicken florentine was perfectly seasoned and balanced in flavor of the white wine sauce, cheese and pasta. Service was excellent - highly recommended!

I have never before written a restaurant review but after suffering through our dining experience at Zini's, I must prevent you from enduring the same. This was possibly the worse meal I have had in years. The menu choices were few. Our waiter, in a word, was WEIRD. The restaurant smelled of either dead mouse or mildew. The fried calamari was spongy and disgusting. There were no home-made pastas on the menu (the waiter told us it was too time consuming to make!). The other items we ordered could have been best prepared and eaten at home. I strongly suggest you drive a bit further north towards Litchfield, CT for a wonderful dining experience and excellent food at La Cupola Ristorante and Inn. La Cupola is immaculate, attractive, with excellent service and a diverse menu of delicious choices which I guarantee you'll enjoy.

Celebrated our 15th anniversary there last night and would happily do so in the future. The atmosphere was inviting but unobtrusive, the service was professional and entertaining, and the specials were perfect - not only well prepared and mighty tasty but also bountiful! We would most enthusiastically recommend Zini’s to anyone looking for a memorable meal out in Litchfield county.

Good food, great service!

Absolutely love the food here I ordered the Chicken parmsean and it was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing definitely coming back and recommend Zini's Restaurant.

Good Italian food. Traditional items well prepared. Excellent service. Reasonablly good desserts, eg cannoli

The wait staff was very efficient and quick. Very nice small place with a friendly atmosphere. Small menu but a variety of choices with choices for everyone's taste. Also the menu changes monthly adding a new variety of food. Highly suggest trying this place out! Very large portions well worth the price.

I loved my lobster ravioli last night it was delicious. Been a regular for few years, never been disappointed.

Horrible dining experience. It took about an hour and a half to get our food, drinks were talking 15 minutes or completely forgotten about, our waitress only came to our table 5 times over the near 3 hours we were there. When the food finally came it was sub par at best. The veal was tough, the salmon was bland and the scallop casserole was more like scallop soup. None of my party will ever return.

Delicious! Everything we had was awesome. The specials were very good. One of the people in our group said the salmon was the best she had ever had. Servers were super attentive.Parents: 3 items on kids menu: pasta with meatball, chicken parmesan, and one other. One high chair available. No coloring or other activities, so bring your own entertainment.EV drivers: No charger anywhere nearby.

Excellent meal. Salad, short rib, chicken parm, and a creme brulee. Special cocktails were delicious too.

Food was great, service not so much. Also I was part of a party of 10...they put us in bar area not a good place to have dinner..very loud and a guy at bar was coughing all over us..very gross

Not really friendly

Quaint setting, little chilly, friendly staff, short menu that changes monthly but a little something for everyone. I had the strip steak which is pretty hard to mess up, wife had the Seafood fra Diablo which was rich and generous. Ambiance and atmosphere are nice, good old Italian crooners in the background. All in all a nice night out, pasta served with everything!! Seafood chowder was off the hook!! Pun intended..

This is the best restaurant in Connecticut. The food is great, the variety is awesome, and the staff is amazing. Every time I come to Connecticut, I eat at Zini's.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy, and the stone-patterned walls and gas fireplace were nice touches. I ordered the pork tenderloin, which was excellent, but wish that it was a slightly larger portion for the price. I will definitely be back in the future.

Love Zini’s! One of our favorite places to eat, such a wonderful atmosphere. The food is delicious.

Small & intamint very cozy restaurant. The menu has a little bit for everyone but ask for a little something different & they will try and accommodate you. The prices were ok, high on some things & moderate on others. Staff was excellent, couldn't do enough for you. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

Overall experience regarding the food. We felt it missed the mark. The signature Artichoke hearts were lack luster. Too much lemon and lacked seasoning. The Lamb shank was bland with no real wow factor. The server/bartender was great. She was friendly and accommodating. However she talked the dishes up so much that the bar was set too high I felt disappointed after each course. I think we would be back and try some different dishes, but not for a while. The overall impression of the restaurant was cute. But it is definitely not considered "fine dining" as advertised by any stretch.
